About that hair

Stacey Whitmire got her start in haircutting training in nyc with Nick Arrojo, who developed the iconic Bumble razor education program with Rodney Cutler. At ArrojoNYC, Stacey quickly became a core member of the team as the first to suggest a men’s collection, receiving industry attention for her work in ARROJO Underground, and teaching countless hairstylists as part of the ARROJO Academy, the in-house apprentice education program, and on stage as part of the traveling team for numerous industry events.

To expand her creativity, she joined Rodney Cutler’s Cutler Salon, working in both the Soho and Williamsburg locations. Cutler stylists are behind many of the top runway shows including those in Paris and Milan.

Working now on the west coast in a private studio in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, Stacey specializes in low-maintenance, easy-to-wear sexy hair that falls perfectly in place. Stacey has worked with tv personalities, Oscar nominees, a National Geographic-nominated Explorer of the Year, musicians, models and regular people who appreciate modern, cool style.

Growing up in Santa Monica, she was uniquely obsessed with fashion in a beach and skateboarding town and was constantly on the hunt for a great haircut.
